Wine Consultant Executive Wine Consultant Alessandra Rotondi was born in Rome, but her ancestors came from a small town called San Gusme,' a jewel in the "Gallo Nero" area of Chianti Classico in Tuscany. Alessandra inherited her love for wine from her who had bought and attended to a vineyard with several olive trees near Rome. In 2006, Alessandra left the Diplomatic Service to fully dedicate herself to her new career in the wine industry.

Today residing in New York, Alessandra writes for the most specialized and popular Italian magazines that focus on wine and food in addition to lifestyle. Alessandra has also written a short story, which was published by the Italian Association Women of Wine. Her story called "Che Briscola di Vino!" or "What a Wine!" was dedicated to her Tuscan grandmother. Alessandra consultants for many restaurants and is a guest Wine Speaker for special events like the “Save Venice” and the Italian "Accademia della Cucina Italiana" dinners. At her "Wine Seduction Dinners," hosted at popular venues, she presents wine from a technical point of view and as a fascinating way to deal with people in personal and business situations. TV Network Alice Sky (the Italian "Food Network"), has filmed Alessandra during her manifold activities in New York, as Writer, Sommelier and Wine Consultant.

Alessandra created the wine list at Brasserie Cognac “to honor the outstanding wines from France from both the famous Chateaus and the not so well known wineries. The best wines from around the world are represented as well.
